All rain has some type of chemical in it which scientists call "salts." Even rain water contains these subtances but to help it not taste like this is filters in rivers to make drinking water.

Salts are chemicals that are electrically charged, the key differnce is electricity conducts better in fresh water.

I think that the difference is that one has salt water in it and the other doesn't.The fresh water has different species than the salt water.

Salt water has a salty substance and fresh water it might have germs and bacteria if it comes from ponds and lakes but if it has been processed and in a bottle it is good to drink

The deifferens between saltwater and freshwater is that saltwater has got a hudge amount of salt compared to freshwater. In the oceans the temperature is colder because the heat of the sun needs to warm up a bigger area. In saltwater other types of fish live than in freshwater .You will never find Fresh water in the same big amunt ass salt water because fresh water nomaly is found in ponds and lakes.Pike is a fish that you only find in fresh water.

The difference is that is sea water it is salt and in fresh water it isn´t

The different between salt and freshwater is that the saltwater have a huge amount of salt in it and the fresh water have not.

The different is allso that it have different plants and animals! Ex. In the freshwater we have smaller and not so dangerous sharks and in the saltwater we have bigger and more dangerous sharks.

In the saltwater the plants are more colourfull then in the freshwater.

•Freshwater. Water with dissolved salt content measuring less than 1% is called Freshwater. Freshwater is available from two types of sources, stagnant water bodies, such as, Lakes, Ponds, & Inland Wetlands; and flowing water bodies, such as, Rivers and Streams. Freshwater covers only 1% of the total earth’s surface.

•Saltwater. When water has high quantity of salts dissolved in it, it is called Saltwater. Owing to the large amount of dissolved salts and the associated electric charges on these salts, the conductivity of saltwater is high and it tastes salty. Sea, Oceans, Rivers, and Saltwater Ponds are the natural sources of saltwater, which add up together to cover 71% of earth surface.
